Adam Willett, a beacon from Bellport, New York, began his boxing journey in 2001 at the age of 19. His early dedication quickly bore fruit, as he clinched the New York Golden Gloves just a year into his training, in 2002. By 2004, Adam had become the Empire State Games Champ, and in 2005, he captured the National PAL Championship, triumphing over Eric Fields. His repeated success marked him as a distinguished member of both the "Elite" US World Team and the A.I.B.A. World Championships team in China. His prowess elevated him to the status of #1 Heavyweight in the U.S. and secured him a spot among the top ten heavyweights globally.

2006 was a landmark year for Adam, as he earned titles across several prestigious tournaments, including the National Amateur Heavyweight Championship and three-time National Heavyweight Champion at 201 lbs. His Olympic journey peaked as a 2008 Olympic Alternate, and in 2007, he represented the US at the Pan-Am Games. Despite a setback in 2010, when a shooting critically injured him, Adam's indomitable spirit saw him return to boxing within months, stepping back into the ring with renewed vigor.
